ABOUT THE BRAND

Tabitha Rae is an emerging independent historical fantasy author whose debut novel, Legacy of Shadows, is set to be published in 2026. Authors, whether publishing their work independently or through traditional means, rely heavily on their own marketing and branding to gain reader interest. For Tabitha, having high-quality, brand-consistent imagery to use for her website, social media, and other marketing efforts was crucial to telling her unique story as a fantasy author.

Tabitha's upcoming novel is a historical fantasy that draws inspiration from pirate legends and celtic folklore. Identity, adventure, empowerment, creativity, and passion are all themes highlighted in Tabitha's book and found at the root of her brand, so it was essential to capture those in our shoot together. Along with the more traditional branding images, we also took time to capture some more creative fantasy-inspired images. And of course, at golden hour, capturing photos of Tabitha with fancy gold props and a flowing green dress was truly a magical experience.
