In January of 2017 I had the opportunity to travel to Indonesia as part of a three-week study abroad program. It was truly a life changing experience to visit a country so different than the one I grew up in. We studied the significance of art and the impact it had on Indonesian culture, all while visiting some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Notable locations visited: Jakarta, Istiqlal Mosque, Tangerang, Yogyakarta, Borobadur, Bali, Denpasar, and Uluwatu Temple.
